MGS Phase I Project of SEPCO is the first expansion project of the largest natural gas delivery pipeline system MGS owned by Aramco, which includes the construction of two gas booster stations (No. 3 Station and No. 5 Station), and after Phase I construction, MGS will be able to satisfy the increasing gas demand of provinces in middle and west parts of Saudi Arabia.
        This is the first time of SEPCO to enter the field of Saudi oil & gas engineering in the manner of EPC, and the whole process of operation has presented the excellent executive capability, management capability and performance capability. This project is the first project of gas booster station adopting 3D model software to complete all professional design work in the world, and it was also the first time that Chinese enterprise has successfully organized and carried out the opening operation with pressure on the pipe of 56 inches. The company has repeatedly created the new record of construction progress for Aramco project. When the highest quality index of Aramco projects was broke through 96.9 points andthe safety working hours reached over 13,500,000 hours, the company has received high compliment from the owner for the series of achievements.         In September 2017, MGS Phase I Project has awarded “Project Execution Prize” by Construction Industry Institute of USA, and the company has gained the international recognition for the performance in oil and gas field. At the end of 2017, all mechanical engineering has been finished, which achieved a perfect performance of the agreement.
