It has been the largest solar thermal power generation project under construction currently in the world. With an installed capacity of 200MW, NOOR II project applies solar parabolic trough thermal power generation technology; with an installed capacity of 150MW, NOOR III project applies solar tower thermal power generation technology. The project is under joint engineering procurement construction (EPC) of POWERCHINA and SENER from Spain. NOOR IV project under planning shall be capable of supplying almost 50% power in Morocco after full completion; over one million families can thus use clean energy.
        NOOR II and III projects being now under construction like raging fire. They have offered around 4000 posts for local workers and reserved a large quantity of high-quality talents for power construction in Morocco. Meanwhile, NOOR solar thermal power station project has also successfully accelerated overseas development and equipment export of more than 200 relevant electromechanical enterprises in China, including electric appliance plant, cable plant, steel structure plant, valve plant and pipeline plant, and truly realized mutual benefits and co-win in bilateral cooperation of China and Morocco.
