As a leading enterprise in power construction, POWERCHINA has actively explored new energy construction market in Pakistan by investing and undertaking DAWOOD (50MW), SAPPHIRE (50MW), TAPAL(30MW), SACHAL(50MW), HAE(50MW) and Triconboston (150MW) wind farm projects, with the installed gross capacity of 380MW, in which, DAWOOD wind farm is subject to a direct investment project of POWERCHINA under BOO model; it is one of the preferential development project in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Construction Plan, and also the first Chinese-funded project in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to complete financing close. President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Sharif, both witnessed commencement ceremony of the project.
        Presently, DAWOOD, SAPPHIRE, TAPAL and SACHAL wind power projects have already been put into operation. Wind power projects shall cumulatively accelerate China`s electromechanical equipment export of about 350 million US dollars and actively promote the going out of China`s equipment manufacturing.
