Bali Coal-fired Power Plant Project in Indonesia

        The Coal-fired Power Plant Project is located about 150 km north of Denpasar, provincial capital of Bali, with total installed capacity of 426 MW and total investment about USD 680million. The Project is commenced on February 2013 and put into commercial operation on September 23, 2015.
        Several highlights of Bali Coal-fired Power Plant Project are as follows: Firstly, stick to environmental protection concept. As the Project is placed in an international famous tourist resort, its design environmental protection indicators are superior to related environmental protection standards in Indonesia. It’s the first project in Indonesia to use all-closed round coal field, which has solved the pollution problem in the plant and its surroundings generated from the shore open coal field. Secondly, attach great importance to integration with local society. During construction of the Project, China Huadian always respect local religion, culture and custom in Bali of Indonesia, actively pay back the local and employ the natives; moreover, we have made donations to build facilities for community interest like schools and Mosques, realizing harmonious coexistence with villagers around. Thirdly, shoulder the responsibility. Upon completion of the plant, over 40% power load on the whole island are supplied by the Project. Lean-oriented management is applied to realize long-term and stable power supply. As a result, local power supply cost is effectively lowered, and local social & economic development is boosted.
