Pakistan Port Qasim 1320MW coal-fired power project is the first power project in China-Pakistan economic corridor to be constructed by SEPCOIII in EPC contracting. It is also the No.1 project of Pakistan government to solve the short of energy. And also, the project is the biggest foreign capital coal-fired power project in Pakistan. Qasim project uses supercritical coal-fired power generation technology and uses mature and high-quality Chinese equipment. The project has features of high efficiency, low energy consumption, advanced technology, energy saving and environmental protection. Upon completion, Pakistan will greatly ease the power shortage situation, improve people's livelihood, improve Pakistan's comprehensive competitiveness, and further consolidate the "all-weather strategic partnership" between China and Pakistan.
