Ding Yanzhang Attends the China-Argentina Trade and Investment Forum

        On May 16th, the China-Argentina Trade and Investment Forum was held in Beijing, China. The Argentina President Macri was on a state visit to China. President Macri attended the forum and delivered a speech. Ding Yanzhang, general manager of Energy China attended the forum and the entrepreneurs luncheon.
        Macri said in his speech that, with the continuous deepening of the bilateral relations during the past 45 years, China has become Argentina's second largest trading partner and an important source of investment. Between the two countries there are broad cooperation prospects in food security, technology, sports and tourism, especially in the field of infrastructure. He pointed out that Argentina has a huge demand for building roads, bridges, ports, airports, energy and other infrastructure and hopes that with rich experiences accumulated in this are, the Chinese enterprises will contribute Argentina to enhance the level of infrastructure.
        During the forum, Ding Yanzhang introduced the development process of Energy China and the overall strength of the representative projects. Ding expressed that Argentina is a focus market for Energy China, which will support Argentina's power planning, consultation and infrastructure construction and investment and boost the economic development of Argentina in order to achieve the win-win cooperation.
        The forum has set up four parallel sub-forums: agriculture, infrastructure, energy and tourism, attracting nearly 100 entrepreneurs from Argentina and 800 Chinese entrepreneurs. In recent years, the branches of Energy China continue to expand the business scope in Argentina. The Santa Cruz hydropower station, as the representative work of the large energy infrastructure projects, has received great attention from all walks of life in both countries.
