On July 20, 2017, the latest Fortune 500 list was released. Energy China Group was listed in the Fortune 500 for the forth year with operating revenues of USD33.93 billion in 2016, ranking 312th in the list.
        Over the year, Energy China took initiatives to act against the complicated economic situation. We fully participated in global market competition whilst continuously enhancing and optimizing our management, speeding up business transformation and upgrade and pushing forward internal reforms. Each of the initiatives achieved remarkable results, thus facilitating the sustainable and healthy development of the Company.  In 2016, our operating revenues and gross profits jumped 7.95% and 15.01% on a year-on-year base respectively.
        As the most renowned and authoritative list to gauge large companies worldwide, Fortune 500 selects the world’s 500 largest companies every year with the previous year’s operating revenues as the main basis. In 2016, the threshold to Fortune 500 is USD21.6 billion, increased by 3% comparing with last year. The total revenues and gross profit of all companies listed in Fortune 500 are USD27.7 trillion and USD1.52 trillion.
